Eight flights, countless tube/metro/ubahn rides, five trains, and four bus ventures...who knows how many kilometers. I managed to set foot in 10 cities in 11 days. Every little second was absolutely worth it - quite the overdue reunion with those dearest to my heart. Congratulations to Mrs. Emma Jardine once again, your wedding was so gorgeous! HUGE thank you for making us all a part of the occasion, it was truly an honor.
As we part ways yet again, a bit of us is always left behind and in return, we take a little of it all back with us. Those of you that were unable to attend this round, your names were mentioned CONSTANTLY and we missed you so much!
Erasmus, we must never leave each other in tears but rather part with a confident "see you later" - because sooner rather than later, we will reunite again.
I am so lucky and blessed to have such amazing people in my life. Truly surrounded by the most exquisite individuals on a global scale. Despite the physical distance, wherever on this vast Earth each one of you may be, we can pick up easily right where we left off the time before. Cannot even describe the rush and thrill from reuniting with the crew -from the initial welcome back to the mother continent bright and early with the sunrise, the frantic search for a familiar face in the packed London tube stop, to dropping our suitcases and sprinting into myriad wide open arms for a huge hug, endless twirls in the middle of train stations, of course outrunning the moving sidewalk at the airport as your heart skips a few beats, all accompanied by hand waves from meters away. Excitement does not even begin to describe it all.

It really hit me in the midst of dinner preparation Wednesday night - very little has changed. Our glasses and hearts were always full and the roaring sound of laughter echoed all through Comrie Corft...well, all of Scotland as a matter of fact. We are a bit older, possibly a little wiser, yet put us together for a game of WOLF, we are still those same Erasmus students that ran rampant around Innsbruck and partied until the lights came on at 9 in the morning. Herr Egger did not shut down the party this time and Patrick managed not to make an appearance. Shocking.
So, perhaps until the next wedding? Or maybe a summer getaway before that? A ski trip to our beloved Alpine region? The possibilities are infinite, the world continents only seven. :)
Best of luck to all of you - at work, in your current and future studies, and most of all...in the beginnings of new and exciting life chapters along with the beautiful memories you have yet to make.
I adore all of you to pieces and until next time!
These experiences and memories are my bones, they are my drive and crave for further adventures. Life would be nothing without them. Ready, set, jetset!
