So, somewhere between the € 4.80 for a Coca Cola and every girl on the street carrying a Longchamp bag, I fell for it.
The French capitol welcomed with open arms and sunny weather. I wondered around for the afternoon down by the Arc and of course. Oddly enough, ran into two people from Charleston. This world is getting smaller and smaller by the minute. Of course, had to set foot on everyone’s ultimate favorite – Avenue des Champs-Élysées. This time I was there for fun and entertainment and had no need to see any tourist shit.
It was amazing to meet up with Charlotte again, the reunion was sweet and it was absolutely fabulous. But that was expected, of course, and without a doubt. We partied, we drank too much wine, we rode the subway to remote areas and met up with old friends. A delightful few days where I got to roam around like a true Parisian. Nevertheless, there is no way I could live in the city of lights. That is alright, frequently visiting will just keep me being elegant and classy. Missing my little Charleston so much.
J’ai deux amours...mon pays et Paris.
